1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all conditions relating to the use of IP Check-san ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to all of these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a free web tool that displays technical information about your internet connection (IP address, HTTP request headers, browser information, hardware information, etc.) in real time. All displayed information is provided for reference purposes only, and no guarantees are made regarding its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or usefulness. Automated analysis results are provided for informational purposes and do not constitute professional advice.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The operator does not provide any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, availability, security, freedom from errors, or uninterrupted operation. No guarantees are made regarding the accuracy of any calculation results or simulation results provided by the Service. Any decisions or actions taken based on information or results obtained through the Service are at your own responsibility. The operator does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that the operation of the Service will be uninterrupted.

4. Limitation of Liability

The operator cannot be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Service, even if the operator has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The same applies to damages arising from technical malfunctions or security-related incidents. This limitation of liability applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Indemnification

If any dispute arises between you and a third party in connection with your use of the Service, you agree to resolve such dispute at your own expense and responsibility, and we kindly ask that you do not cause any inconvenience to the operator. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any damages (including attorney's fees and litigation costs) incurred by the operator as a result of your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or your conduct.

6. Prohibited Uses

You shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:

• Unauthorized access to the Service, or any attempt thereof
• Placing excessive load on the Service's servers or network
• Interfering with the operation of the Service, or any attempt thereof
• Using the Service for illegal activities, or facilitating illegal activities
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service
• Unauthorized reproduction, republication, or redistribution of the Service's content
• Mass access using automated tools (bots, crawlers, scrapers, etc.). This includes, but is not limited to, use as training data for machine learning models, referencing or citing by generative AI (grounding), and use as a data source for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), regardless of whether commercial or non-commercial
• Infringing on the rights of other users or third parties
• Using the Service for commercial purposes (unless prior written consent is obtained from the operator)
• Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the operator

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the content of the Service (including text, images, software, design, logos, trademarks, etc.) belong to the operator or their rightful owners. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly transmit, or otherwise use such content without the prior written consent of the operator.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may use services provided by third parties. Use of these third-party services is subject to the respective service providers' terms of service and privacy policies. The operator cannot be held responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services. Please be aware that the operator also cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from the use of third-party services.

9. Modification of Terms

The operator may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice to users. Modified Terms shall take effect upon being posted on the Service. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Users are responsible for periodically reviewing these Terms.

10. Suspension and Termination

The operator may suspend, modify, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time without prior notice to users. Please be aware that the operator cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from the suspension, modification, or termination of the Service. The operator may restrict or block access for any user who violates these Terms or whom the operator deems inappropriate, without prior notice.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Article 13 (Authoritative Language)

The Japanese version of these Terms shall be the sole authoritative text. English and other translated versions are provided for reference only. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and any translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.

Article 14 (Free Service Disclaimer)

This Service is provided free of charge. As such, we do not guarantee the continuity, stability, or accuracy of the Service. Given the nature of a free service, we are not obligated to provide the same level of quality assurance or support as paid services. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this Service.

Article 15 (Use by Minors)

Minors should obtain the consent of their parent or guardian before using this Service. If a minor uses this Service, it shall be deemed that they have obtained such consent.

Article 16 (Region of Operation)

This Service is principally operated on servers located in Japan. These Terms shall apply to access from outside Japan as well.
